Job Description
Part time or full time positions. Baggers provide a high level of customer service and ensure customer’s groceries are handled properly to maintain quality. Provide high level of prompt and friendly customer service. Maintain a positive work environment at the front end. Bag customer’s groceries. Retrieve shopping carts from the lot and around the area. Return unwanted merchandise to store shelves. Follow all front end procedures and policies set forth in the Bagger Manual. Excellent communication with head cashier at all times. Responsible for general housekeeping in and around the front end. Sweep and mop floors. Restroom checks. Clean spills. Assist with shelf stocking, facing, and dusting when needed. Walking and standing for long periods. Exposure to extreme temperature changes. Repetitive arm and hand movements. Frequent heavy lifting, bending, and stretching. Must be able to lift, bend, twist, reach, stretch, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs. Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast paced environment. Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
