You must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. These include, but may not be limited to:
Standing or walking for an entire 8-hour shift;
Climbing stairs, ramps or ladders regularly during the shift;
Lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds;
Running as needed;
Reading, understanding and clearly speaking English;
Completing written reports in neat, legible handwriting;
Able to clearly see (unaided or with corrective lenses) and to visually distinguish colors;
Working in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, heat;
You must have reliable transportation (this can include public transportation) and the ability for us to readily communicate with you (a working phone, pager or cell phone). You must wear the complete uniform issued to you by Universal Protection Service at all times while on duty. In addition to the uniform items provided, you must provide and wear dark socks, black shoes or boots, and a white crew neck t-shirt (if uniform includes an open neck shirt). In addition, you agree to abide by all grooming and dress code standards established by Universal Protection Service.
