A fundraising call representative is primarily responsible for calling a pre-assigned list of individuals with the purpose of gaining funds for an organization, using information about the company given during training. In addition to making outbound calls to ask for money, a call representative may make outbound calls to thank a contributor for a donation. This individual may also answer inbound calls from individuals who wish to make a donation. Using the assigned data input system, a fundraising call representative records the personal information of donor, including the amount donated and the account in which to apply the funds. This individual is also responsible to answering questions during a call, researching a donor’s payment history, transferring callers to the appropriate individual and placing orders if a donor receives a gift for his contribution.
