Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION: The restaurant steward will maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant kitchen and its equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Load dishwasher with dirty dishes as needed.
2. Make sure that the dishwasher machine is cleaning properly.
3. Keep and maintain a clean workstation at all times.
4. Make sure that the dishes are clean and sanitized.
5. Must know the size and the name of the China, silver ware and glassware.
6. Sweep and mop kitchen as needed.
7. Clean walls as needed.
8. Maintain a high level of training for equipment cleaning.
9. Empty all the garbage cans to the dumpster at the loading dock.
10. Clean the drains.
12. Clean the loading dock.
13. Clean the fish file.
