Job Description
Seeking candidate to assist with room preparation, data acquisition, imaging processing, and customers focus on a plus. Must be competent to perform independently in area of responsiblity. Department Assistants II assists the technologist, nurse and physicians with diagnostic imaging procedures. Takes an active role to help maintain effective and efficient workflow. He/ she will assist with room preparation, supply inventory,imaging processing, and assist with patient transportation as required.takes an active role in scheduling and arranging imaging procedures. Will demonstrate knowledge, basic understanding and the rational for performing imaging exams. Department II will escort/ transport patients to and from the holding area, prepare the patient for the appropiate imaging procedures, notify the technologist when the patient is ready for the procedure.
