Janitor/Utility
Job Description
Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of entire store. Performs a variety of tasks including but is not limited to: Provide friendly customer service. Maintain a positive work environment. Clean and sanitize store including: Sales Floor, Backrooms, Restrooms, Break room, Offices, Store exterior, Dock area. Empty trash. Check lights throughout the store and replace bulbs when necessary. Clean front store windows. Maintain sweep logs. Bag customer’s groceries when needed. Monitor inventory of stores cleaning supplies. Operate equipment according to Company safety practices. Assist in maintaining all equipment in safe working condition. Give customer direction of product location throughout the store. Must be able to stand for entire scheduled shift. Must be able to lift, bend, twist, reach, stretch, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs. Exposure to extreme temperature changes. Exposure to machine induced noise. Exposure to cleaning products and fumes. Frequent lifting, bending, and stretching. Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers. Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
