Job Description
DOWNEY RETIREMENT CENTER is hiring server and dishwasher as soon as possible, position to be filling by in 2 weeks. THIS IS A FULL TIME JOB, APPLICANTS WITH OPEN AVAILABILITY ONLY.
Server Position Summary:
The server ensures all residents are provided with prompt and friendly service according with Downey Retirement Center Standards. The server describes menu items, assists residents to any needs, delivers food and beverages, and assists fellow team members to ensure overall resident satisfaction.
Requirements and Working Conditions:
-One year experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
-Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
-Must be able to assist residents and possess great resident relations skills
-Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively within a team
-Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
-Continuous use of hands and arms
-Continuous bending, reaching and twisting
