As a Career Coach, much of our client’s success will indirectly rely on how well we can effectively communicate our training to our clients. The uniqueness of a Professional Development Coach is that we must be versatile in our approach so that each client has a certain degree of skills. It is our job to ensure that our clients receive quality training every session and for our clients to fully understand, to the best of their abilities, each chapter of their training before moving forward.
Career Coaches assist individuals in the job application and interview preparation processes. We work with our clients from 1 month to 1 year, depending on an individual’s needs. PDC’s assist their clients in identifying personal goals, developing leadership skills, and planning career moves.
Coaches employ “counseling skills” to help their clients build self-esteem and increase motivation. As a Career Coach, you will identify strategies necessary to impact the instruction effectively. Additionally, you will monitor the instructional effectiveness and student progress and make recommended adjustments.
